"All the Nudes that's Fit to Print"

Holiday Party

Approximately twenty people attended the Annual Holiday Party which was hosted by Dave and Bonnie . Susan read various funny stories about each individual who received a gift from Santa.

The Turkey and Ham was donated by our host and Alan and Susan and the club donated the remaining food items along with the Christmas gifts.

Questions and responses which were posted online to those in attendance were as follows:

  • What was your favorite thing about the party? All the effort Susan and Gail put into the party. Santa and his helper. I enjoyed everything, but my favorite was seeing everyone having a great time.
  • What gift did you get, did you like it and why? A bath-and-body set-which keeps Brigitte soft and supple and an Armor-All kit which keeps our car soft and supple. I received a Wine carafe and glasses. I guess Santa knows I love Wine!
  • What did you think of the food - Turkey & trimmings, cheese platter & of course the pie? The food was excellent and there was a large variety of choices.
  • What did you like about the set-up and mood of the party? Circle of chairs good-could have done without the fire, though. The host did a great job in setting the mood and making us all feel right at home.
  • What did you think about the games and if you won, what was your prize? Games are a good idea, but I didn’t win anything.
  • What are your suggestions for our 2010 Holiday Party? Need a pool, do not need a fire (unless it is cold), which in that case we don’t need a pool. I was happy with it all and hope we can repeat everything the same next year.

Dinner out at Salsas

This was a fun dinner out. About 21 of us showed up to enjoy some new foods, some new friends as well as some old friends. We talked a lot and laughed a lot, ate a lot and got just a little loud. The waiters were friendly and attentive so we received great service. John ordered a mulfangu dish for all of us to try. The mulfangu was plantains that were prepared in a special way. It was hot and spicy. All in all, the food was excellent and plentiful and everyone enjoyed their evening.
